About me

I am Georgina Shell but prefer to be called Gina and I am 28

I am a mum of two children, one girl, Tamara (9) and one boy, Rhys (5), I live with my partner Dan, their dad and we have a cat. I have been childminding for 7 years now. I enjoy my job very much and all the children that come through my front door are welcomed into my family. I come from a big family and have always enjoyed working with children, I helped with family members children and babysat regularly.

I trained in Childcare and Education at college, I did work experience at St John's Roman Catholic Primary School and at Sunflowers Day Nursery.

After having my own children I wanted to try something that would work around them. I also wanted to give parents peace of mind by providing a service that allowed their little one to be left in the hands of someone they knew they could trust to care for their child.

I have public liability insurance through PACEY, I have my own car that is serviced regularly, It has an up-to-date MOT, is fully Business Insured, and I have an up-to-date first aid Certificate.

I am registered to provide the free early years childcare for all children aged 3-4 and for some two 2 year olds that are eligible for free childcare. You can call me to discuss whether your child is eligible or go to www.gov.uk/find-free-early-education

I will carry out EYFS Observations on all children under 5 to monitor that child's individual progress, give you a daily diary and share any photos I have

I have spaces for children from 3 months to 16 years
