My current research focuses on the “Political Economy of Africa’s Green Structural Transformation”, with particular attention to green industrialization, transition minerals and industrial policy.
On this page, you will find an overview of ongoing and completed theses from students I currently supervise or have previously supervised. These projects reflect the breadth and diversity of topics within my broader research agenda and illustrate the types of questions and approaches I encourage in graduate research. On my “Policy Insights” page, you will also find selected reflections and commentaries on these themes, offering additional context into the research directions I am currently engaged in and the types of problems I consider intellectually and policy relevant.
I welcome supervision of students at undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels working on related themes, particularly in the context of African countries, although I also supervise students examining comparable issues in other regions. Students interested in pursuing a PhD under my supervision are encouraged to explore TU Delft Graduate School’s guidelines and application process.
