I am currently an Assistant Professor of Economics at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft). Before joining TU Delft, I worked as an Economist at the German Development Institute (DIE) in Germany, where I contributed to setting up the “Research Network Sustainable Supply Chain Network”. I have also garnered several years of experience in research, teaching, and policy advocacy haven worked and consulted for different local and international organizations including German Institute for Economic Research (DIW), Kiel Institute for World Economy (IfW), European Center for Economic Research (ZEW), United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), World Bank, African Development Bank (AfDB), European Commission, African Centre for Economic Transformation (ACET), and International Finance Corporation (IFC).
I hold a PhD in Economics from Maastricht University. My current research interest include: Green Industrialization, Industrial Decarbonization, and Transition Minerals.
