Venue
The conference will take place in the premises of the beautiful campus of Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Morocco.
Al Akhawayn University is located in Ifrane, Morocco, 70 km (43 mi) from the imperial city of Fez, in the midst of the Middle Atlas Mountains.
The participants will be hosted at Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane (Downtown Residence) and/or hotels in the region. All the arrangements will be ensured by the organizers.
Ifrane is located in the the region of the Middle Atlas in Morocco.
Ifrane (nicknamed Little Switzerland) is a town and ski resort in the Middle Atlas region of Morocco (population around 15,000). Ifrane is 1665 metres (5,460 ft) in altitude and is part of the Meknès-Tafilalet region. In Tamazight, the regional Berber language, "ifrane" means caves.

How to get to Ifrane on your own?
Morocco enjoys an excellent network of roads. There are direct flights to Casablanca from all over the world including North America (Montreal, New York,Boston, Washington DC, etc ), Europe, Africa, and Middle East.
The nearby airport to Ifrane is the international airport Fes-Saiss. It is located about 10 km from the city of Fez and about 55 km from Ifrane. It has direct flights from major cities, including: the national air company, Royal Air Maroc, JetAirFly, Ryanair, Transavia, EasyJet, Air Arabia, etc.
By Car
For those participants who prefer to drive from Casablanca to Ifrane, you can take the highway from Casablanca to Rabat, on the way to Rabat take the Highway exit to the direction Meknes/Fez. Then drive until you get to Meknes second exit (Meknes Est) where you will see indications for Ifrane. After paying the turnpike, take the expressway that leads to the towns of Boufekrane and El Hajeb. Drive ahead on El Hajeb main street until you see indications for Ifrane. Follow these indications until you reach Ifrane. Ifrane is about 3h 30min drive by car from Casablanca airport. The stretch of highway from Rabat to Ifrane is in superb condition.
By grand taxi
The easiest way to get into Ifrane is by grand taxi from Fez or Meknes. Both cities are an hour away. Grand taxis in Fez leave near the Fez CTM station, they arrive in Ifrane at the grand taxi station, which is located less than 3 km away from Al Akhawayn University.
By bus

Coming from Rabat Airport (Rabat-Salé Airport.)
Passengers coming from Rabat Airport to Ifrane can choose from the following options:
Option 1:
Take a taxi to Ifrane. The price ranges between 80 to 90 Euros. Taxis are available at the main entrance of the airport. If there are more than two passengers, the price can be shared between the parties.
Option 2:
Take the taxi from Rabat Airport to Rabat train station “Rabat Ville” (check the train time schedule), then, take the train to Meknes Al Amir. Taxis are available at the main entrance of the Al Amir train station to head to Ifrane.
