THE WAR
(deleted/finished)
Ghostbusters 4: The War, is the first deleted film in the franchise. It consisted of four cast members, which we're Abhiraj, Raghuvir, Abhiveer, and Advik.
There are many reasons why this movie was deleted, and most certainly didn't belong in the Ghostbusters franchise.
PLOT
The plot was that the Ghostbusters would now have to fight all the ghosts they had fought before. And since there we're only three movies, (two of which that had the SAME selection of ghosts and monsters), this wasn't going to be that much.
EFFECTS
The effects weren't there. That's right. NO effects. The editor was in a time constraint of half an hour, and didn't want to do the movie any time else (Raghuvir Bhardwaj). However, the published version of this movie does have one effect, because it was later added on to make the movie better, and so was the music.
ACTING
The acting was truly horrible. So horrible it inspired memes of this one single deleted movie. It was described by fans as "shitty, cringe, horrible, ass, and garbage." Especially Abhiveer's.
MEMES
This movie has one recognizable and another not-so-known meme. At number one is "Let's go help him man!" which was said by Abhiveer. This caused Abhiveer to gain the reputation he has of cringe today. Another meme was Advik screaming "HAAAGGH", which on the published version in unhearable because of the music added. So these memes helped with some of the stuff like making people laugh, but it also reminded people how bad the acting was
BIG WAR
(deleted/unfinished)
"We tried making Ghostbusters 4 again, but of course it had to be deleted as well. Infact, it might have been better than the Ghostbusters 4 we have now."
- Raghuvir Bhardwaj
This movie has almost been deleted entirley, and no photos, video or anything of it is left. This movie was filmed on Ivaan's birthday (after his birthday party) and was left unfinished because of Raghu's parents calling and saying that he can't be in the blistering heat and he also can't be using his phone. And Abhiveer and Raghu fought so Abhiveer left in one of the first scenes.
(deleted/unfinished)
The deleted version of Ghostbusters 6 was like any other Ghostbusters movie, unlike the Ghostbusters 6 we have today. But a lot of things came in the way that just kind of got this thing unfinished.
There we're these random kids who we're playing around the amphitheatre, which was the filming location, and they just wouldn't get out. And second, the space on the phone was running out, so recording randomly ended, and in one of the shots the kid is even visible, as seen in the image below.
(forgotten/deleted)
The meme version of Ghostbusters was forgotten instantly due to the lack and displacement of memes. The audio quality wasn't good either, and the editing was trash. It was later removed, but is still available to watch today on YouTube.
Ghostbusters 9 went through similiar struggles that Ghostbusters 4 did, having to refilm the movie three times and only getting it right on the third one. This is the story of the first one.
Ghostbusters 9 was going to feature a cast member from Ghostbusters 6, Suveer, one of the funniest too, but the main problem turned out to be Suveer, as he was constantly distracting everybody while filming and ended up leaving randomly in the middle, with the props, and then the cast spent half an hour looking for him, and then the movie got cancelled.
After the events of Suveer making everybody struggle to make the movie, Ghostbusters 9: Unpossesion was refilmed a few months later, taking place mainly in the amphitheatre. The problem with this movie? It felt like a repeat of Ghostbusters 8. But thats it. We dont know why this movie was deleted, because looking at the deleted movie now (link - https://youtu.be/CajKWUpkMCU) it doesn't really seem that bad at all. Raghuvir Bhardwaj said the filming was very rushed and while piecing the clips together initially, he didn't feel good about the movie at all. So instead of actually trying to edit it the movie was trashed. It does have its downsides, but not as many as to get deleted. This has the award for the best deleted movie. And heres the really surprising part. Vedaant Bhalla, the man who made Ghostbusters 3, which originally had best edited, and the man who has 10x better editing skills that Raghuvir, was supposed to edit this. So we doubt if Raghuvir had braincells at the time of deleted this movie.
