Ghost Dark Panel Aura (“the app”) is developed by Mohammed Essalhi (“we”, “us”, “the developer”). This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles, where that information goes, and the choices available to you.
The app is a local utility app for iOS 16.0 and later. It has no user accounts and no developer-operated servers. The developer does not receive, store, or have access to a database of your personal information. The main privacy considerations in this app come from advertising and from Apple’s purchase system, both of which are described in detail below.
This Privacy Policy is provided for transparency and does not constitute legal advice or a guarantee of compliance with any particular law.
Ghost Dark Panel Aura provides on-device reference and customization tools, including:
Sensitivity reference tables for mobile and emulator setups
A crosshair designer with style, color, size, thickness, gap, rotation, center dot, and outline controls, including Pro crosshair styles
A floating ball element with size, opacity, pulse, and color options
Live device readings: frames per second, thermal state, display refresh rate, memory (RAM) usage, and storage usage
A network latency (ping) tool
Local app settings, language selection, haptic feedback, and app sounds
Everything the app displays is rendered inside the app itself. The app does not modify any other application, does not inject into or interact with other apps or games, does not draw overlays on top of other apps, and does not control or read the contents of other applications. iOS does not permit this, and the app does not attempt it.
The app does not offer or require:
User accounts, sign-up, or login
User profiles
Any developer-operated backend, API, cloud database, or server-side storage
Because there is no developer backend, the developer does not collect or store your settings, your device information, or any usage records. There is no developer-side user database associated with this app.
The app saves your preferences locally on your device using the standard iOS preferences system. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to the developer. It includes:
The main panel on/off state and which features are switched on
Your mobile and emulator sensitivity values
Your crosshair configuration and any crosshair presets you save
Your floating ball configuration
App settings: haptics on/off, sounds on/off, monitor refresh interval, chosen ping endpoint, and default crosshair style
Your selected app language
Whether you have completed onboarding, and your position within it
Timers for any temporary feature unlocks earned by watching a rewarded ad
Timestamps of recent rewarded ad views, used only to enforce the app’s own hourly limit on rewarded ads
This information contains no names, no identifiers that identify you personally, and no contact details. Deleting the app removes this locally stored data from your device.
To display its device readings, the app reads the following from iOS on your device, in real time:
Device model, system name, and iOS version
Processor core count and total physical memory
Current app memory usage
Available and total storage capacity
Thermal state and Low Power Mode status
Display maximum refresh rate and measured frame rate
Battery level, used only to help explain thermal and performance readings
This information is read locally and shown to you on screen. It is not collected by the developer, not stored on any server, and not transmitted anywhere by the app. It exists only for as long as it is being displayed.
Please note the distinction: this information is accessed locally to provide a feature. It is not collected remotely. Advertising SDKs described in section 7 separately collect their own device and diagnostic information under their own policies, which is a different matter from the readings described here.
The ping tool measures how long your device takes to open a network connection to a public host. You choose the destination from a fixed list inside the app:
1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare) - the default
8.8.8.8 (Google)
9.9.9.9 (Quad9)
www.apple.com (Apple)
The app opens a standard connection to the selected host and measures the round trip time. It sends no personal information, no account data, and no message content, and it does not transmit the measurement anywhere. The result is shown on screen and is not stored by the developer.
As with any internet connection, the operator of the host you select will necessarily see the network connection coming from your device’s IP address, in the same way it would for any other internet request. The developer does not receive, log, or store your IP address.
The app checks whether your device currently has an internet connection, so it can pause and retry loading ads and store information appropriately. This check reports only connectivity status. It does not examine your browsing, your network traffic, or the contents of your connection.
The app is supported by advertising and uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob).
The advertising formats actually implemented in the app are:
Rewarded ads, which you choose to watch in exchange for temporary access to certain features
Interstitial ads, which may appear at certain transition points
App open ads, which may appear when returning to the app
The app does not use banner ads and does not use native ads.
Advertising providers such as Google and its mediation partners may collect and process information for the purpose of serving and measuring ads. Depending on your consent choices and your region, this can include information such as device and diagnostic information, general location inferred from IP address, ad interaction and performance data, and advertising identifiers. This processing is carried out by those providers under their own privacy policies, not by the developer. The developer does not receive this information in an identifiable form and receives only aggregate reporting, such as total impressions and revenue.
The app includes Google’s mediation adapters for Meta Audience Network, Unity Ads, and Liftoff Monetize (Vungle). Mediation means Google’s ad servers decide, per ad request, whether one of these partners fills the ad. The app never contacts these providers directly and never sends them information by name. If a partner is selected to fill an ad, that provider’s SDK may then process information under its own privacy policy.
The app includes SKAdNetwork identifiers for advertising partners. SKAdNetwork is Apple’s own privacy-preserving system for measuring ad campaign performance without identifying individual users. Measurement through this system is handled by Apple and the participating ad networks.
The app uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to handle advertising consent where it is required.
If you are in a region where consent is required, you may be shown a consent or privacy choices message before personalized advertising is used. Your choices are recorded by the UMP framework and are respected by the advertising SDKs. Whether this message appears, and what options it contains, is determined by Google’s UMP framework based on your region and the applicable requirements, not by the developer.
Where the framework indicates that privacy options remain available to you, the app can present those options again so you can review or change your choices.
The app uses Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. After the consent step described in section 8, the app may ask for your permission to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies.
You may allow or deny this request.
Denying does not prevent you from using the app. All features remain available, and ads continue to be shown in a less personalized form.
If you allow it, advertising partners may access your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA) for advertising and measurement purposes.
You can change this choice at any time in iOS Settings, under Privacy and Security, then Tracking.
Tracking does not always occur. It depends on your ATT choice, your consent choices under section 8, and the requirements that apply in your region. Advertising and measurement behavior may differ accordingly. The app itself does not read your advertising identifier in the version distributed on the App Store, and the developer does not use it to build a personal profile of you.
The app offers an optional paid upgrade, Ghost Dark Panel Pro, available as:
Ghost Dark Panel Pro Monthly (product identifier ghostdark.pro.monthly)
Ghost Dark Panel Pro Yearly (product identifier ghostdark.pro.yearly)
All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and Apple’s In-App Purchase system. Your payment details are handled entirely by Apple under Apple’s own privacy policy. The developer never sees, receives, or stores your credit card number, billing address, or any other payment details.
To determine whether your subscription is active, the app uses RevenueCat, a subscription management service. RevenueCat receives purchase and receipt information from Apple and returns your current subscription status to the app. For this purpose, RevenueCat assigns your installation an anonymous identifier. The app does not send RevenueCat your name, your email address, your Apple Account details, or any other contact information, and does not ask you for them.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Managing, changing, or cancelling a subscription, and any refund request, is handled through your Apple Account rather than by the developer.
The following third-party services are actually integrated in the app. Each operates under its own privacy policy, which governs its handling of information.
Apple (App Store, In-App Purchase, StoreKit, SKAdNetwork, App Tracking Transparency)
Role: distributes the app, processes all purchases and subscriptions, and provides the tracking permission and privacy-preserving ad measurement frameworks. Apple handles payment information and purchase records.
Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)
Role: serves the rewarded, interstitial, and app open ads in the app, and measures their performance. May process device and diagnostic information, general location inferred from IP address, ad interaction data, and, subject to your permission, the advertising identifier.
Google User Messaging Platform (UMP)
Role: presents privacy and consent messages where required and records your consent choices so that advertising SDKs can respect them.
RevenueCat
Role: validates App Store purchase receipts and reports your subscription status back to the app. Processes purchase and receipt data together with an anonymous installation identifier.
Meta Audience Network, Unity Ads, and Liftoff Monetize (Vungle)
Role: included as AdMob mediation partners that may supply ads. These providers are involved only when Google’s mediation selects them to fill a given ad request. When that happens, the selected provider may process information for ad delivery and measurement under its own privacy policy.
The developer does not operate a separate analytics system for this app. The app contains no analytics SDK and no crash reporting or error monitoring SDK. The app does not record your screens, your taps, your feature usage, or your session history for the developer.
The advertising and purchase services listed in section 11 perform their own measurement necessary to deliver their services, as described above. Apple may also provide the developer with aggregated, non-identifying App Store statistics if you have enabled sharing in your own iOS settings; this is controlled by Apple and by your device settings, not by the app.
The app does not request, access, or collect any of the following:
Your name, email address, phone number, or postal address
Contacts
Photos or your photo library
Camera access
Microphone access
Precise or coarse device location from iOS location services
Health, fitness, or medical data
Calendars, reminders, or files
Messages, call history, or browsing history
Any user-generated content uploaded to the developer
The app requests no iOS privacy permissions other than the App Tracking Transparency prompt described in section 9.
The app is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children. It is not designed for, marketed to, or intended for use by children under the minimum age that applies where you live, and the app does not knowingly collect information from children.
Because the app is ad-supported and includes optional paid subscriptions, a parent or guardian should supervise use by a minor. If you believe a child has used the app in a way that raises a concern, please contact us at the address in section 19.
Reasonable measures are used to protect the information handled by the app. The preferences the app saves stay within the app’s own protected storage area on your device, safeguarded by iOS. Network connections made by the app and by the services it uses rely on standard secure transport provided by those services and by Apple.
No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and no absolute guarantee of security can be given.
The developer does not operate a backend or database that stores your app settings or personal information, so there is no developer-held record to retain or delete. The preferences described in section 3 remain on your device until you change them, reset them in the app, or delete the app.
Information processed by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, and the mediation partners listed in section 11 is retained according to each of those providers’ own retention policies and practices. The developer does not control those retention periods and does not state them here.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws. These can include rights relating to access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, restriction of processing, and withdrawal of consent. The rights available to you, and the conditions attached to them, vary by jurisdiction, and not every right is available to everyone.
In practice, for this app:
Locally stored preferences are under your direct control. You can change them in the app, or remove them entirely by deleting the app.
Advertising consent can be reviewed or changed through the privacy options described in section 8, where those options are available to you.
Tracking permission can be changed at any time in iOS Settings, under Privacy and Security, then Tracking.
Requests concerning information held by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or a mediation partner are best directed to that provider, since the developer does not hold that information and cannot access or delete it on your behalf.
If you wish to exercise a right or ask a question about this policy, contact us using the details in section 19. We will respond as required by the law that applies to you.
The app is available in multiple regions. The third-party providers described in this policy may process information in countries other than your own, including countries whose data protection laws differ from those where you live. That processing is governed by each provider’s own policy and safeguards.
