Ghorrent app is developed and provided by SR Soft Limited as a platform for rental properties. This Service is offered by SR Soft Limited and is provided "as is" without any warranties or guarantees.

.By using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of your information as outlined in this Privacy Policy. The personal information we collect is used solely to provide, maintain, and improve the Service. We do not share or disclose your information to any third parties except as described in this Privacy Policy.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as those defined in our Terms and Conditions, which can be accessed via the Ghorrent app, unless otherwise stated here.

1. Information We Collect

When you create an account or use our Service, we may collect the following information:

  • Use IDs ( Exmple : Number,Name)

  • Phone Number (used for login)

  • Address

  • Profile Image (optional)

• User-Generated Content:
  Content you post such as property listings, images, and descriptions.

• Device and Usage Data:
  Automatically collected information such as your device type, operating system, IP address, and app usage data via third-party services.

2. Permissions We Use

To provide our Service effectively, we request the following permissions:

• Camera Permission:
  We request access to your device’s camera only during account creation or when you choose to upload photos from your device gallery. This permission is optional and requires your consent. For user-generated content (UGC) posts, photos or data are handled via intents and do not require additional camera permissions.

• Internet Permission:
  To connect to our servers for real-time data exchange, including property listings and updates.

• Access Network and WiFi State Permissions:
  To check your internet connectivity and optimize app performance.

• Advertising ID Permission (AD_ID):

Used by Google AdMob to deliver personalized advertisements. This identifier does not reveal your personal identity. 

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

• Create and manage your account and listings

• Display rental properties and enable user interactions

• Moderate and approve user-generated content

• Improve and maintain app functionality and performance

• Provide personalized advertising through Google AdMob

• Communicate with you regarding your account or reported content

4. User-Generated Content (UGC)

Users of the Ghorrent app may submit content such as rental listings, property photos, descriptions, and other related materials. This content is considered User-Generated Content (UGC). By submitting UGC, you agree to the following terms:

• User-Generated Content:
  Content you post such as property listings, images, and descriptions.

• Content Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content you submit. You must ensure that your content is accurate, lawful, respectful, and does not contain offensive, misleading, or harmful material.

• Content Review: All submitted content is subject to review by our admin team. Content will only be made publicly visible after approval. We reserve the right to reject, edit, or remove any content that violates our guidelines or terms of service.

• License to Use: We do not claim ownership of your UGC. However, by submitting content to the Ghorrent app, you grant SR Soft Limited a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, store, and manage your content within the app and related services, solely for the purpose of operating and improving the platform.

• User Control: You have the ability to delete your submitted content at any time through the app. Once deleted, your content will be permanently removed from our servers.

• Privacy of Reports: If you report content posted by another user, that report will only be visible to you and our admin team. Reported content is not disclosed to other users. You may also delete your own reports at any time.

5. Reporting System

The Ghorrent app includes a built-in reporting system that allows users to flag public content that may violate our community guidelines or terms of service. By using this feature, you agree to the following:

• User Reports: Users can report any public post they believe is inappropriate, illegal, misleading, offensive, or otherwise violates our policies.

• Visibility of Reports: Reports are strictly confidential. Only the reporting user and the admin team have access to submitted reports. They are not shared or visible to other users.

• Admin Review and Feedback: Our admin team regularly reviews submitted reports. If necessary, action will be taken such as removing the content or warning the offending user. Admins may also send feedback or a response to the reporting user via in-app notifications.

• User Control Over Reports: You may delete your previously submitted reports at any time through the app. Once deleted, the report data will also be removed from our servers.

• Confidentiality: All reports are handled with strict confidentiality to protect both the reporter’s identity and the integrity of the review process.

6. Data Storage

All data collected through the Ghorrent app — including personal information, user-generated content (UGC), and usage data — is securely stored and managed by SR Soft Limited.

• Your data is hosted on secure servers operated and maintained by SR Soft Limited .

• We retain your information for as long as your account remains active, or as long as necessary to operate, improve, and maintain the Service.

• If you choose to delete your account, all associated personal data and content will be permanently removed from our systems.

• Certain anonymized or non-identifiable data may be retained to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or for internal purposes such as analytics, auditing, and reporting.

• All user-submitted listings, images, and related content are stored in user-specific directories within our secured infrastructure to ensure data integrity and service functionality.

7. Third-Party Services

We utilize trusted third-party services to enhance user experience and maintain the quality of our app. These services may collect non-personal information in accordance with their own privacy policies.

• Firebase Analytics: Used to collect anonymized usage data (e.g., screen views, session duration, device type) to help us understand user behavior and improve app functionality.

8. Log Data

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory.This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this Service.

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

12. Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

13. Data Deletion Right

Users have the right to request the deletion of their account and associated personal data.
