Welcome to Gruhe Rāmāyaṇam 2025 -2026

Gruhe  Gruhe Rāmāyaṇam is a one-year program initiated by Samskrita Bharati in 2021 that facilitates the Pārāyaṇam i.e. reading of complete Srimad Vālmiki Rāmāyaṇam. Since then, the program has facilitated many to read the complete Vālmiki Rāmāyaṇam, making Rāmāyaṇam a part of their lives. As the program enters its fifth year, we invite each of you to make Rāmāyaṇam a part of your lives too.

Pre-requisite: Participants will require to have Vālmiki Rāmāyaṇam book . The program recommends Vālmiki Rāmāyaṇam book published by Gita Press Gorakhpur. In case of non-availability of the book, participants can refer to website which will be suggested by the program.

The objective of the program is to facilitate the participants to read the complete Vālmiki Rāmāyaṇam which has approximately 648 sargas. By reading two sargas a day, the reading can be completed in approximately 324 days / reading sessions.

This website provides resources that will assist the participants in the Pārāyaṇam.
