HOW TO GET TO COMO BY PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
The venue is at walking distance (10/15 mins) from Como Borghi and Como S. Giovanni train stations. In order to get there from the Milan area, you may follow one of the following suggestions:
From Milano Centrale train station: take a train (Trenord) with final destination Chiasso and get off at Como S. Giovanni. The trip takes about 40 minutes and there is one train every hour. Alternatively, you can take the Eurocity train going to Zurich (get off at the first stop), but it's more expensive.
From Milano Cadorna train station: take a train (Trenord) with final destination Como Lago and get off at Como Borghi. The trip takes about 55 minutes and there is one train every half an hour.
From Milano Porta Garibaldi train station: take a train (Suburbano S11 - Trenord) with final destination Como S. Giovanni or Chiasso and get off at Como S. Giovanni. The trip takes about 1 hour and there is one train every half an hour.
From Milano-Malpensa airport: the shortest way is to take any train that goes to Milan (Malpensa Express - Trenord), get off at Saronno and change there to take a train (Trenord) to Como Borghi. Both trains are quite frequent (every 15/30 mins) and the overall trip is about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
From Milan-Bergamo airport (Orio al Serio): take a bus to Milano Centrale train station (see below) and follow the above instructions. The bus trip to Milan is about 1 hour.
From Milano-Linate airport: take the M4 underground line to San Babila, then change and take the M1 line to Cadorna and follow the above instructions. Alternatively, some of the private bus companies listed below also connect Linate airport to Centrale station.
