Each year our club participates in a variety of projects, from supporting national organizations to impacting individual members of our community.
Last year we collected 75 pounds of plastic (!) that was then recycled into a Trex bench located at College Lutheran Church in Salem.
The Roanoke County Woman's Club donates funds each year to support the purchase of materials and construction expenses for Hallowheels. Volunteers build costumes for children who use adaptive equipment.
The Club donates to St. Jude's which helps fund Birthday and "NO MORE CHEMO" parties at the hospital.
The Club provides bagged treats throughout the year as well as socks and toiletry items.
The Roanoke County Woman's Club supports many of the outreach activities of SAEM, including the middle school student food pantry and sponsoring / volunteering (and having fun!) at the annual Mother's Day Brunch and Fashion Show that benefits Mrs. Dorsey's Clothes Closet.
