About The Greater Federation of Women's Clubs
The Greater Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC) is the largest and oldest non-denominational, non-partisan service organization of volunteer women in the United States. GFWC is dedicated to improving local communities through volunteer service.
The organization seeks to build communities where people unite in diversity and dedicate their service to changing lives.
GFWC has over 6500 member clubs in the U.S. comprised of Juniorettes, Junior Woman's and Woman's Clubs plus hundreds more around the world.
We participate in a national day of service along with the other member clubs and seek to align our activities with the GFWC community service initiatives.
Club members have opportunities to volunteer, serve their communities, and serve in leadership roles.
The Roanoke County Woman's Club is a member of the GFWC Virginia state organization as well as the GFWC Blue Ridge District.
