We are so saddened with the passing of Mike, the husband of our member, Pam. We are humbled and grateful that Pam & Kristin have asked in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the local non-profit children’s literacy program, Books till Six at the Carilion Children’s Hospital, funded by our club. Children’s literacy was a cause that was near and dear to Michael throughout his whole life. This program ensures every child leaving the Carilion Children’s Hospital goes home with a book of their very own. His love for children’s literacy goes back to his many volunteer hours reading to children at Back Creek Elementary.  Checks can be made out to “GFWC Bent Mountain Woman’s Club” and mailed to P.O.
