This project is beautifying and revitalizing the Bent Mountain Center courtyard, transforming it into a welcoming space for community gatherings. Collaborating with local landscapers, hardscapers, designers, and volunteers, we are creating a sustainable and accessible area that showcases our mountain's natural beauty for generations to come.
The project began with leveling the courtyard and constructing four block planters. A base of sand and gravel was then prepared, followed by the careful placement of three sizes of large pavers to create the courtyard floor. Landscaping was thoughtfully researched and planted to thrive in both the heat of summer and the cold of winter. A waterfall feature was added, bringing the refreshing presence of water and its calming sound. The result is a truly unique space—perfect for meditation, entertaining, or gathering friends for special occasions.
