2023-2024 Auditions

This year, dancers will have the opportunity to audition for the 2023-2024 season in person on April 22th, or virtually between May 1st-June 16th.

Virtual auditions will be open all summer, but as we have limited resources that allow us to only take on a maximum of 32 dancers, it is suggested that your virtual audition be submitted before June 16th. All dancers must fill out the audition application.

Audition information for all audition types is listed below.

In person Auditions will take place on Saturday, April 22th from 10am-2pm in the Hadlock Student Center.
Dancers must fill out an Audition Application before arrival. 

What to Expect on Audition Day:

• Dancers will learn a short routine and across the floor combo together as a group.

• Dancers will audition the routine and combo they have learned as well as several basic dance skills (turns, leaps, etc.). At this time, dancers will have the opportunity to showcase any tricks or skills they'd like. 

Dancers should wear athletic clothing and sneakers, and bring any turning shoes they may already own. 

Note: Dancers interested in joining our competition team will indicate so on their 2023-2024 Audition Application, and will then have the opportunity to audition in person at our dance camp (which happens in the days leading up to the start of fall semester and is required of all performance team and prospective competition team members).
