ABOUT US

The GFU Dance Team represents George Fox University through entertaining performances, drive for academic excellence, and commitment to community involvement and school spirit.

The George Fox University Dance Team is a group of students who perform at all home football and basketball games, tailgates, select chapels, and various University & community events. We aim to provide a safe space for dancers of all experience levels to express themselves through performance and create lasting friendships.

We perform mainly jazz, pom, and hip hop styles of dance at athletic and university events. We also perform lyrical/contemporary style routines at select chapels. Not only do we provide school spirit through performance, we carry the Bruin spirit throughout the community with our involvement in service projects and events.

Over the past few years, the GFU Dance Team has been involved in community projects such as Operation Christmas Child with Samaritan's Purse, performances for the City of Newberg Rotary Club, and various projects with campus Spiritual Life.
