GFT Group

Welcome

In complex analysis, geometric function theory (GFT) is one of the active areas of research. The interplay of geometry and analysis makes this subject more fascinating.  The study of univalent functions was initiated in 1907 when Koebe discovered that the image of every normalized univalent function defined in the open unit disk contains a common disk |w| < ρ, where ρ is a positive constant. The Bieberbach Conjecture coined in the year 1916, was the key inspiration for researchers that lead to the rapid development of this subject. For more information, refer to the GFT Books.

A group of geometric function theorists from all over the world has been formed with the aim to provide them a platform to support and cooperate each other, share resources and ideas, and provide opportunities for undertaking quality research in GFT.
