Dear 48 hr Friends.
The Elders that we work with our team send our heartfelt thanks to you all.
We witnessed a group of highly talented gifted individuals take on a movement that often gets stuck as it pushes to free itself.
As we read each submission we realised we are not stuck but only a sentence or sketch away from healing the Cultural divide.
There is something in all of what was submitted that will take us forward.
Thank you for entrusting your passion and talent with us.
Respects and goodwill.
Peter McConchie
Traditional Cultural Practices (TCP) is an Elders led NGO. It's dedicated to ensuring that traditional Cultural practices and knowledge from the World’s oldest living Culture is protected, maintained and lives on.
This is done in a variety of ways, from building homes for Elders so they can stay on their tribal lands, to establishing Cultural schools where Elders can share and transfer their knowledge to Community.
The brief that will drop on the 22nd will be about how we help TCP launch the Community we're calling CultureUp! in order to garner support and secure an ongoing financial support base.
The rules are pretty simple.
The brief will be released at 9am on the 22.5.2020
You have 48 hours to come up with an original idea that you think meets the brief
Questions will be answered as promptly as possible and common ones will be added to this site
Ideas to be submitted in digital form by close off time
Judging will take place by a panel of GFN crew and the TCP founders
Winner announced on 29.5.20
As if you needed another reason to want to get involved with this one. The TCP are going to award the winning entry with a placement at one of their Cultural schools. This is a unique opportunity to meet Elders, stay in a Community and learn directly about the Culture and Lore of indigenous leaders, on their land.
