Welcome back students and families of 8th graders.
Mr. Nunn, your administrator, and Mrs. Paddack, the eighth grade counselor have several important items to share with you regarding the first few months of school.

Both of us are aware of who your child is and either one of us are able to help you, however in general, Mrs. Paddack is the person to contact for social, emotional, academic concerns, scheduling.
If you have moved or are planning to move please contact the school counseling office! Mrs. Skrenchuk is our school counseling secretary and she will guide you in what documents that you may need.
If you have medical concerns, or need your child to take a medication or have access to medication, you must go through our school nurse, his contact information is:

PTSA meeting: Wednesday September 12th 6:00 PM in student activity center. Ms. Paddack will attend and share important i8th grade information with you that evening.
Back to school night: Back to school night: September 13th for 7th and 8th graders.
IF you have lost your PE uniform or are new here, you may purchase your items on that evening.
Please make sure you have purchased two locks with combination .
8th grade information night will be Tuesday September 18th at 6:00 pm in the media center. Please come and get information on the magnet application process, CAT North, middle school classes and the impact on high school as well as answers to your questions. We welcome your input on anything you would like to learn about or see happen.
CAT NORTH Field trip: The CAT North Field trip is a day for our 8th graders to become familiar with the options offered at CAT North. Classes vary from automotive technology to Culinary Arts, baking, and computer design. Students will travel there by bus and will be able to visit four of the classes. We need chaperones! if you are willing to help out on November 19th from 11-3, please contact Mrs. Paddack as soon as possible. All 8th graders will be in attendance.
