Are you a Jr. High, High School, or College student ready to step up and make a difference? You’ve come to the right place! Here, you can apply to join our Student Leadership Ministry, explore more about the experience, and learn what’s expected of student leaders.
As a student leader, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills, serve alongside amazing volunteers, help plan events and activities, and make meaningful connections with other students. You’ll also grow spiritually by learning important disciplines such as effective prayer, biblical counseling, and studying Scripture more deeply, while discovering how to serve others using the spiritual gifts God has given you. Most importantly, you’ll get to lead with purpose and make a real impact for God’s Kingdom.

Student leaders have the unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on the entire church community. By joining youth leadership, students not only learn practical ministry skills, such as planning events, leading peers, and serving others, they also grow deeper in God’s Word and develop spiritual disciplines that guide their daily lives. This growth does not stay in the church; it flows into their homes, schools, and communities, influencing their relationships, decisions, and example for others. Becoming a student leader equips students to lead with purpose, serve with heart, and make a difference wherever God places them.

How to Get Started in NexGen Leadership
Step 1: Complete the Student Leadership Application
Fill out the online application so we can learn more about your interests, gifts, and availability.
Step 2: Attend an Informational Meeting
Join a session to hear about the leadership program, expectations, and opportunities to serve.
Step 3: Participate in an Interview or Conversation
Meet with the Student Leadership Coordinator or NexGen Pastor to discuss your goals, commitment, and fit for the team.
Step 4: Complete the pre-assessment (This does not determine your entrance just helps us tailor the curriculum for the group)
Learn practical ministry methods, leadership skills, and spiritual disciplines that will prepare you to serve effectively.
Step 5: Stay consistent, stay involved, and enjoy the fun!
Step into your role on the leadership team, start leading in your assigned areas, and grow in both faith and ministry impact.
