In conjunction with The International Seminar on Aspiring Sarawak Delta UNESCO Global Geopark 2024, a special post-tour visit has been arranged to Bung Jagoi Homestay to showcase the rich culture on 9 October 2024, community spirit, and natural beauty of the area to both local and international participants. This visit is part of the effort to promote Bung Jagoi as a key destination within the proposed Sarawak Delta Geopark, which is currently being nominated for UNESCO Global Geopark status.

During the visit, participants will be warmly welcomed with traditional dances and symbolic bead garlands. The program includes a guided tour to historical and natural landmarks such as the Duyoh Waterfall, along with local briefings on the history and significance of Bung Jagoi and its community homestay.

This tour is not only a cultural experience but also a testament to how community-based tourism can contribute to the preservation of local heritage and the sustainable development of rural communities.
