While most of my games come straight from my own mind, using what I see trending on social media and working with my teachers to determine what skills we need to review as well as using released EOG exam question formats when possible, there is absolutely a place for us to consider leveraging AI Tools to build math games.
Remember when it comes to AI tools, we have to consider a few things:
We only can get out of it what we give it to work with . . . the better your prompt, the better your results
Every result will still need refining and personalization.

Here are some sample starters for prompts:
If you need AI to craft a game: I am a seventh grade math teacher that wants to review computation of unit rates associated with ratios of fractions to solve real-world and mathematical problems (NC.7.RP.1) with my class of 30 students. Can you suggest a minute to win game we could play to generate data and problems to complete using that data to meet this standard? Please make the activity and task be 20 minutes or less. Potential Follow Up: Can you scaffold this for my learners who are two grade levels below with skills?
If you already have a video or challenge you want to incorporate: I am a seventh grade math teacher that wants to grade ___ math skills using the viral challenge (insert link to the video or name of the challenge here). I teach in North Carolina. Can you suggest two or three hands on learning activities that would last 10 minutes or less and could be connected to this viral challenge as well as connect them to the North Carolina math standards for my grade level? Potential Follow Up: The activities you suggested are not interactive enough to engage my students. Can you suggest two other options that are more active? Please also connect these to my grade level learning standards.
