Assignment 1

Today, I recorded voiceovers using my iPhone 14 Plus for our assignment. This experience gave me immediate insights into mobile recording and what it takes to achieve good audio quality. 

Setup and Environment: I set up a simple recording space in a quiet corner of my room. I used pillows and blankets to dampen echoes and made sure to minimize background noise. Natural light from a nearby window helped create a comfortable atmosphere. 

Challenges and Learnings: Using a smartphone for recording posed challenges like ambient noise and microphone placement. I experimented with different angles and distances to find the best setup for clear audio. I also adjusted settings on the phone to improve sound quality.

 Technical Insights: I quickly learned to use recording apps on my iPhone, exploring features for noise reduction and adjusting levels. Editing directly on the device allowed me to refine recordings and enhance clarity. 

Personal Growth: In just one session, I gained a deeper understanding of the nuances of voice recording. This experience reinforced the importance of preparation and attention to detail in achieving professional results, even with basic equipment. 

Future Aspirations: Moving forward, I'm interested in exploring more advanced techniques in mobile recording, like using external microphones and mastering additional editing tools. This assignment has sparked my curiosity to further develop my skills in voice acting and explore new creative opportunities. 

Recording with my iPhone 14 Plus today was an insightful experience, showing me the potential of mobile technology in capturing quality audio for creative projects.
