Born in 1981 on Salt Spring Island, Georgia Collins now lives and works in Shawnigan Lake, BC. Painting mainly in oils and acrylics, Collins has completed her BFA at Emily CarrUniversity of Art and Design. Collins concentrates on scenes of leisure and is interested in exploring specific moments within these scenes. Her work has been shown at the Bateman Foundation Gallery of Nature, Gallery Gachet, Concourse Gallery, Kelowna Art Gallery, Xchanges Gallery as well as the ECU Graduation Exhibition where Collins was recognized by an accomplished Graduation jury.
