For my CAD course at CU Boulder, our final project was to take an existing product and create a CAD model of it. Because of my love for baking, I chose to model my KitchenAid stand mixer. The assembly is composed of eight separate parts. Because I could not take the mixer apart to view the inner workings, the interfacing of each part is simplified. The base was made using surfacing, while the rest of the parts were made with traditional boss cut-extrude techniques.
