Starved is a single player horror game created my me and a group of around 4 other people, where I was the lead developer and in charge of building the map inside of the editor. All current games in the starved series are made in short deadlines - to emulate a Game-Jam and to add time pressure to the project. it then evolved into a mini series of games where we created multiple different stories involving the characters. The original starved was a simplistic story game about getting lost in the woods and trying to survive the monster. Whilst the second game in the series is a similar concept, its presented in a different way, with less story - but a different gameplay mechanic using a camera.
The original starved, where you crash into a deer on the road and have to survive in the forest - whilst avoid the monster that inevitably causes a chase. There are 5 different endings depending on what items you can find and things that you do around the map. This game was made in around 2 weeks.
In the sequel for starved - the player goes back to the forest to gather evidence of the monster - but things are very different and its very dark. You use an old polaroid camera to light your way and take photos of different evidence whilst the monster hunts you down. This game was made in around 1 week.
