Bio: I have worked in education for the past five years as a paraprofessional at the high school level which has equipped me with a strong foundation in supporting students with disabilities in the classroom. I earned a Bachelors in Science Fitness & Sports from Millikin University and earned my education license and Learning Behavior Specialist I (LBS1) in Special Education for K-12th grade from Trinity Christian College. As a teacher, I am eager to apply my skills and knowledge to support my students and help them achieve their full potential. I am excited to collaborate with other educators and professionals to create individualized education plans that cater to my students' unique needs and challenges.
My dedication, passion, and commitment to lifelong learning make me confident that I can make a positive impact on the lives of my students and become an outstanding special education teacher. My goal in my career is to reach as many students as possible by building positive relationships and giving them real life experiences in the classroom. Through both teaching and coaching I want every student or athlete to learn skills beyond the classroom, set academic, personal, and professional goals.
My coaching experience has been a valuable asset in developing skills that can help my students on and off the field. I understand the importance of setting goals, working hard, and never giving up, and I look forward to instilling these qualities in my students as they strive to achieve their academic and personal goals.
