These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of GEO. By creating an account or using GEO, you agree to these Terms.
GEO is a location-based application that allows users to capture and publish photographs associated with geographic spaces.
Access to certain features depends on your physical location and the availability of geographic spaces.
You are responsible for providing accurate account information and maintaining the security of your account.
You may not impersonate another person, create accounts for abusive or fraudulent purposes, or attempt to bypass restrictions imposed by GEO.
GEO uses location information to determine the geographic space in which a user is located.
Publishing may require GEO to verify that your device is physically located within the relevant space.
Geographic boundaries, availability, and other location-based functionality may be affected by GPS accuracy, device capabilities, connectivity, or other technical limitations.
GEO may impose limits on the number of geographic spaces that an account may occupy.
You retain responsibility for photographs and other content you submit to GEO.
By publishing content through GEO, you grant GEO a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, display, process, and distribute that content as necessary to operate and provide the service.
You represent that you have the necessary rights to submit the content you publish.
You may not use GEO to publish or engage in content or conduct that:
Is unlawful.
Infringes another person’s intellectual property or privacy rights.
Contains threats, harassment, or targeted abuse.
Contains sexually exploitative or otherwise illegal material.
Promotes fraud or deceptive activity.
Attempts to manipulate GEO’s location or geographic-space systems.
Attempts to bypass account, publication, or space limitations.
Interferes with the security or normal operation of GEO.
GEO may review, restrict, reject, or remove user-generated content when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, comply with applicable law, or maintain the integrity of the service.
Users may have access to tools for reporting content or blocking other users.
Moderation decisions may not always be immediate.
A geographic space may already be occupied or otherwise unavailable when you attempt to publish.
GEO does not guarantee that a particular geographic space will remain available or that content associated with a space will remain available indefinitely.
GPS and other location technologies are not perfectly accurate.
GEO does not guarantee the absolute accuracy of device location information, geographic boundaries, or map information.
You are responsible for using GEO safely and for complying with applicable rules and restrictions in your physical surroundings.
GEO may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the service when an account materially violates these Terms, abuses the service, threatens its security, or where action is reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law.
You may stop using GEO at any time and may use the account-deletion functionality provided by the application.
GEO relies on third-party services and infrastructure to provide certain functionality. Those services may be governed by their own terms and policies.
GEO may change, add, remove, or discontinue features as the application develops.
We do not guarantee that every feature will always remain available.
GEO is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or perfect accuracy of location, map, or user-generated information.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, GEO and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from the use of or inability to use the service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
These Terms may be updated as GEO develops or as legal and operational requirements change. The current version will be made available through this page.
