We appreciate your interest in our mobile application. The protection of your data is important to us. Since it is designed as a complete offline application, data processing takes place exclusively on your local device.

Principle: No Collection or Transmission of Personal Data
A purely offline app that does not collect, store, or process any personal data.
· No personal data: The app never asks for your name, email address, location, contacts, or any other data that would allow conclusions to be drawn about your person.
· No tracking or advertising: The app contains no tracking tools, no analytics services (like Google Analytics), and no third-party advertising modules. No data is shared with third parties.
· No Internet connection: The app works completely offline.
Data Stored Locally on the Device (Functional Data)
The app stores all data exclusively locally on your end device to enable the core function of the digital recipe diary. This data serves purely functional purposes and is not considered personal data in the narrower sense, as it is not linked to a specific identifiable person.
· Types of data stored locally: Recipes created by you (title, ingredients, instructions, etc.); photos selected from your device gallery and assigned to the recipe; generated PDF files of the recipes.
· Use of locally stored data: This data is used exclusively for displaying and managing your recipes within the app.
· Handling of photos: If you select photos from your device gallery, the app only accesses the images explicitly selected by you to store them locally in the app's dedicated storage folder. No further access to your gallery or other media data takes place.
· Deletion of locally stored data: The data can be deleted by:
Deleting the data (recipes and photos) directly in the app at any time.
Deleting the data directly via the app settings of your operating system (storage management).
Uninstalling the app (which deletes all associated data), unless they have been backed up beforehand..
Export and Data Backup (Data Portability)
The app offers the following function for data backup and user control:
· Export (PDF/JSON): Allows you to export the locally stored recipes as PDF/JSON files. The created file is stored exclusively on your local storage and only leaves it if you share the file yourself.
We, as developers, have no access to these exported files.
Data Processing by the App Store (e.g., Google Play Store)
As an application distributed via an App Store (such as Google Play), the download process and license check are handled by the respective Store operator. This processing is the responsibility of the Store operator and typically includes: your payment information and device IDs for verifying the license and the purchase/download status.
We, as developers, only receive anonymized statistics from the Store operator and have no access to your payment or license data collected by the Store operator.
Your Rights as a Data Subject
Since the app does not collect or store any personal data from you, your rights (right of access, rectification, deletion, etc. according to Art. 15 et seq. GDPR) are primarily limited to the data processed by the App Store during the purchase/download process, or to the locally stored functional data.
· Right to access, rectification, and deletion: These rights are exercised directly by you (see Section 3) through the full control you have over your locally stored recipes and photos (editing, deleting within the app, app storage management).
· Right to data portability: This right is implemented directly in the app via the export function (PDF) (see Section 4).

Child and Youth Protection
Our app is designed for use from 8 years of age. Since Genuss Tagebuch fundamentally does not collect any personal data from users of any age, the collection of separate consent from legal guardians is unnecessary. The requirements of the GDPR and the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) regarding the processing of children's personal data are considered fulfilled in this case.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to adjust this Privacy Policy as needed to align it with changed legal requirements or new features of our app. The current version will always be available in the app and in the App Store. We recommend that you review this statement regularly.
