Dr. Gentes has worked with some of the world leaders in the development of empirically supported treatments including Cognitive Therapy for Depression, Exposure and Response Prevention for OCD, and Prolonged Exposure Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD. She has extensive clinical experience using empirically supported treatments for anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders but focuses primarily on research and teaching and maintains only a very small private practice providing affordable CBT in Rhode Island.
