Today's Scripture is suitable to use with Lectio Divina
Stilling: Come into the presence of God and use a stilling exercise to quieten yourself.
Grace: Pray that we shall be filled with the utter fullness of the Holy Spirit.
Prayer Suggestion: Ask God to walk with you through all the parts of your present life and to show you where the Spirit is at work. Ask God to show you what gifts and graces you need at the moment.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love,
joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,
gentleness, self-control.
Against such things there is no law.
Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
Since we live by the Spirit, we must also follow the Spirit.
Conversation: Have a talk with Jesus about what has struck you during this meditation.
Finish with a final prayer such as the Lord's Prayer/Our Father
My soul glorifies you my God,
My spirit rejoices in you my Saviour!
For you have blessed me lavishly
and make me ready to respond.
You shatter my little world
and let me be poor before you.
You take from me all my plans
and give me more than I can hope for or ask.
You give me opportunities and the ability
to become free and to burst through my boundaries.
You give me strength to be daring,
to build on you alone,
for you show yourself
as the ever greater One in my life.
You have made known to me this ----
It is in my being servant that it becomes possible
for your realm to break through here and now.

Notice today what speaks to you about the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Take a photograph of these objects or moments on your phone. At the end of the day take some time to go through your photos and notice which you are most drawn to.
What is it about that photo that jumps out at you? Let the photo lead you into a conversation with God? What might God be saying to you through the photo? What is your response?
