Get to know the host of the series and author of the book on which the study is based through their conversion story.
Dr. Scott Hahn was born in 1957, and has been married to Kimberly since 1979. He and Kimberly have six children (two of which are seminarians for the diocese of Steubenville) and eighteen grandchildren. An exceptionally popular speaker and teacher, Dr. Hahn has delivered numerous talks nationally and internationally on a wide variety of topics related to Scripture and the Catholic faith. His talks have been effective in helping thousands of Protestants and fallen away Catholics to (re)embrace the Catholic faith.
He has been awarded the Father Michael Scanlan, T.O.R., Chair of Biblical Theology and the New Evangelization at Franciscan University of Steubenville, where he has taught since 1990, and is the founder and president of the Saint Paul Center for Biblical Theology. From 2005 to 2011, Dr. Hahn held the Pope Benedict XVI Chair of Biblical Theology and Liturgical Proclamation at St. Vincent Seminary in Latrobe, Pa. From 2014 to 2015, he served as the McEssy Distinguished Visiting Professor of Biblical Theology and the New Evangelization, University of St. Mary of the Lake in Mundelein, IL.
Scott received his Bachelor of Arts degree with a triple-major in Theology, Philosophy and Economics from Grove City College, Pennsylvania, in 1979, his Masters of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in 1982, and his Ph.D. in Biblical Theology from Marquette University in 1995. Scott has ten years of youth and pastoral ministry experience in Protestant congregations (in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Massachusetts, Kansas and Virginia) and is a former Professor of Theology at Chesapeake Theological Seminary. He was ordained in 1982 at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Fairfax, Virginia. He entered the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil, 1986.

Matthew Leonard is an internationally known speaker, author, podcaster, filmmaker, and Vice President of the St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology (founded by Dr. Scott Hahn).
A convert to Catholicism and former missionary to Latin America, Matthew is a frequent guest on radio and television programs across the country appearing on SiriusXM, EWTN, CBS, and the Magnificat. He hosts a popular podcast on iTunes titled “The Art of Catholic.”
Matthew is the Executive Producer and host of the popular Journey Through Scripture video series and is a featured speaker by Lighthouse Catholic Media. He also holds a Masters in Theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville. In addition to numerous articles, he is the author of two books, Louder Than Words: The Art of Living as a Catholic and Prayer Works! Getting A Grip On Catholic Spirituality.
Matthew lives in Ohio with his wife Veronica and their five children.

Get to know the priest, Fr. Anthony Sepulveda, who will accompany us on this Journey through Scripture.
Fr Anthony Pichay Sepulveda was ordained to the priesthood on 4 May 2013 by the Prelate of Opus Dei, Bishop Javier Echevarria, along with 30 other faithful of the Opus Dei Prelature.
In 2018, Fr. Sepulveda obtained his Licentiate in Sacred Scripture from the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome. From 2018 to 2020, he worked as a part-time professor in the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome. He earned his Sacrae Theologiae Doctor (SThD) Degree in Biblical Theology in 2015 and his Licentiate in Biblical Theology in 2012 from the same university.
Fr. Sepulveda obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Theology from the University of Navarre in Spain in 2009. He is a graduate of Philippine Science High School in Diliman and the Ateneo de Manila University. His background is Computer Science.
