Buses and trams are operated by Carris. Bus routes cover the entire city, linking the centre with outlying areas. Some services operate overnight. Trams mainly serve central and riverside districts and generally run less frequently than buses.

The Metropolitano de Lisboa operates across four lines, providing convenient access to much of the city centre. Trains run daily between 06:30 and 01:00.
Public transport in Lisbon uses a rechargeable card system:
Viva Viagem Card: A reusable card that can be loaded with single tickets, 24-hour passes, or pay-as-you-go credit (“zapping”).
Contactless Payments: In the metro, passengers can also pay directly with a contactless bank card or mobile device.
Lisboa Card: Offers unlimited travel on most public transport along with free or discounted access to major attractions.

Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation
The Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation is a unique institution dedicated to the promotion of the arts, philanthropy, science, and education. It is a complex located between São Sebastião and Praça de Espanha, which includes a garden and several buildings.
You can access the grounds from four different streets: Avenida de Berna, Rua Nicolau Bettencourt, Rua Marquês de Fronteira, and Rua Marquês Sá da Bandeira.
