Statement of Care and Cultural Acknowledgement

The workshop is founded on the basis of equity and care. 

• The Statement of Care outlines how the workshop ensures that all participants feel safe and cared for whilst they participate and that their contributions are treated with care before, during and after the workshop. 

• The Statement of Cultural Acknowledgement encourages all involved in the workshops to recognise the inequities in the development and operation of GenerativeAI.

Creating this safe and equitable environment, and recognising the equity issues in relation to GenAI is integral to the workshop. If you decide to adapt these statements please share back the adaptations you make.

For visibility within the toolkit these statements are provided separately in the site navigation, however we strongly encourage workshop facilitators to use them together.
