Saturday, October 21 – Optional Preconference
7:30-8:30am Pre-conference participants have breakfast at the Parkview Guesthouse.
8:30am Shuttle arrives at the Parkview to take participants to St. Andrew’s Episcopal School (8012 Oak St). Enter the school on Zimpel Street under the red awning.
9-12 Workshop on Exposing and Eradicating Gender Stereotypes for K-12 Teachers
12-1:15pm Lunch
1:15pm – on A shuttle can return you to Parkview and you are free to explore New Orleans on your own!
Sunday, October 22
9am-12pm The Scholars Strategy Network will run optional appointments for on-camera media training to be held at Howard Tilton Library. People should make appointments in advance with Celeste at jlay@tulane.edu.
9am-12pm Participants are welcome to use Anna Many Lounge in the Caroline Richardson Building to work, have meetings, or store luggage.

Monday, October 23
Please note: We are going directly to dinner from the conference. Please plan accordingly.
7-8:15am Breakfast at the Parkview Guesthouse. The Parkview breakfast room is not large enough for the entire group at one time. We ask those staying at the Parkview to eat prior to 7:45 to allow those from the other hotel to eat when they arrive.
7:15am Shuttle will pick up group at Hotel Indigo and drop at the Parkview for breakfast. If you miss this shuttle, you will need to make your way to the conference on your own via streetcar, cab or ride-sharing service.
8:15am Walk to Lavin-Bernick Center (LBC) at Tulane University (Building #29). It is approximately a 15-minute walk from the Parkview to the LBC. All remaining events on campus will be held in LBC. One of our student assistants will leave Parkview at 8:15 to escort a group to the LBC.
