Embark on a transformative journey designed to elevate your teaching expertise in the digital era. This course is tailored to empower you with the knowledge and skills necessary to seamlessly integrate generative AI tools into your higher education teaching practice.

By the end of the course, participants will demonstrate the ability to use generative AI tools and ethical considerations into their teaching practice, culminating in a revised course syllabus with AI-enhanced lesson plans, assessments, and learning materials. 

After engaging with generative AI-related videos and discussions, participants will be able to identify and articulate key concepts and potential applications of generative AI in higher education settings. 

Participants will develop and articulate a clear policy stance on the use of AI in their classroom, reflecting ethical considerations and the relevance to their specific teaching context. 

Through revising their course syllabus with GPTs, faculty will demonstrate the ability to create clear and effective CLOs and subCLOs, aligning them with AI-enhanced teaching strategies. 

Participants will use generative AI to develop a detailed lesson plan for their course, incorporating Gagne's Nine Events and focusing on project-based learning outcomes.

Participants will utilize generative AI to create assignments that align with the CLO, guiding students towards achieving it, demonstrating an understanding of assessment design.

Participants will create clear, AI-assisted rubrics for their course assignments, ensuring transparent, fair and objective evaluation criteria.

Participants will integrate AI tools to create engaging formative assessments, enhancing student engagement and learning feedback.

Participants will employ AI to develop summative assessments, ensuring effective measurement of student learning.

Level 24: Comprehensive Lesson Plan Revision

Participants will use AI to revise all lesson plans in their course, implementing techniques learned in previous levels.

Level 25: Assignment Overhaul

Participants will rework all assignments using AI, focusing on creativity, engagement, and AI-resistance, aligning them with course objectives.

Level 26: Rubric Refinement

Participants will refine all rubrics using AI, ensuring clarity, fairness, and alignment with learning outcomes for more effective evaluation.

Level 27: Assessment Integration

Participants will redesign all formative assessments using AI, incorporating interactive elements to boost engagement and provide varied feedback.

Level 28: Summative Assessment Development

Participants will develop or refine all summative assessments using AI, ensuring comprehensive coverage of course content for robust evaluations.

Level 29: Portfolio Presentation Creation

Participants will create a comprehensive presentation of their course’s AI integration, showcasing revisions and enhancements.

Level 30: Peer Review and       Feedback

Participants will review and provide feedback on each other's presentations, sharing insights and best practices for AI application in education.
