The main portion of the front cover is made with the same material as the casing, that being galvanized steel.
However, since it is where the door is, on the left of the opening there is a plastic piece with two hooks. This is where the hinge goes onto. On the bottom right corner of the front cover theres a little door that opens too. Behind that door is the water pump that pumps water to the drum and the motor that drives it.
The front cover, as a part of the casing itself, protects the washing machine and provides an opening for clothes to be taken in and out. It also contains a small door on the bottom right that reveals the water pump, allowing for a user to remove blockages in the pump.
The manufacturing process in which this part of the washing machine is most probably cutting and cold pressing from sheets, judging by the extrusions and holes that can be seen on the surface, as well as the lack of other giveaway markings.
The metal parts of the casing are made of galvanized steel that has been powder coated white. Hot dip galvanizing has been performed, where the metal is dipped in a bath of molten zinc, as opposed to electrogalvanizing where the process involves electroplating Zinc on steel. This type of galvanizing creates a coat of Zinc 5-10x thicker that can last 34 to 170 years. Galvanized steel allows resistance to rust and, to a certain extent, chemical corrosion.

The water pump is where the water goes through to get into the drum. It is watertight and connects two tubes. The water pump is made of PVC.
PVC has good chemical and weather resistance, along with resistance to water and fire. PVC is also harder and denser than most plastics. PVC is also rigid, has good tensile strength and is cheap, making it perfect for the connecting ends of the tubing. These properties would allow for a lasting connection due to PVC's rigidity, strength and water resistant properties. However, depending on its composition, its properties could vary.

The motor is the part behind the water pump that is responsible for spinning the turbine that moves the water through the water pump and through the pipes. It works by sending electricity through a mass of copper wire wrapped around a stator, thus generating a magnetic field and spinning a motor in the process.
Copper is one of the best conductors of heat and electricity. It's extremely ductile and malleable. Copper is also fairly cheap compared to silver (arguably the best in electrical conductivity) Being a good electrical conductor and being easily drawn into wires, copper is optimal for use in electrical appliances, such as wires, circuit boards, and motors.
