Sue is an experienced teacher and educational consultant. She has had three decades working in the gifted community as a teacher, gifted coordinator, facilitator, consultant and gifted advisor, leading schools’ development in gifted education through professional learning and mentoring. Her background is in special education for neurodiverse learners, including the needs of gifted students in primary and secondary schools and as a Sessional Tutor. Sue has taught in South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. she is trained as a SENG (Supporting Emotional Needs in Gifted) facilitator and has regularly run the SENG Model Parent Groups to support families with gifted children. She is professional and practical, and cares deeply about creating learning environments in which gifted students can thrive and about providing support for parents and teachers.
