THE FOUNDER 

Angelo Emilio Kuri is a dynamic and visionary young entrepreneur from South Sudan, renowned for his commitment to community development and education. With a strong self-motivated drive, Angelo has dedicated himself to improving the lives of children and families through educational initiatives.

He completed his Bachelor's Degree in International Relations and Diplomatic Studies at Cavendish University Uganda complemented by a Diploma in International Development Studies obtained from Africa Center for Project Management (ACPM), Kenya, and an Ordinary Diploma in Human Resources Management obtained from Mikese University College, Yambio South Sudan. His academic background reflects his deep interest in diplomacy, development, and organizational management.

Beyond his educational pursuits, Angelo has gained valuable practical experience working in the humanitarian sector, specializing in Security, Humanitarian Diplomacy, and Protection / Advocacy. His hands-on involvement in these areas demonstrates his commitment to safeguarding vulnerable populations and promoting sustainable development. To deepen his expertise, Angelo has completed specialized training in security studies, which enhances his ability to implement strategic security measures in sectors that demand careful safety protocols. 

In 2019, Angelo founded the Child Humanitarian Action for Development Organization (CHADO), a community-based initiative aimed at supporting children and women affected by armed conflict in Western Equatoria State. CHADO's activities included advocacy, education, health, hygiene, and sanitation programs. By 2021, with support from Democracy International (DI) and the Civic Engagement Initiative, CHADO conducted numerous activities such as community dialogues, protection case management, and training sessions on social and economic topics, benefiting thousands of youth and women in Yambio. However, due to funding constraints, Angelo paused CHADO's activities and subsequently founded Gemenze Nursery & Primary School to continue his commitment to community development.

His professional journey in the humanitarian field reflects a consistent focus on creating safe and supportive environments for at-risk groups. Angelo is also a family man, married to his wife, Mrs. Christine, and together they are blessed with children. His personal life and professional endeavours are driven by a strong desire to foster community growth, especially through education, which is exemplified in his founding of Gemenze Nursery & Primary School.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Angelo Kuri is a passionate advocate for the vital role of culture as the foundation of a thriving society. He firmly believes in the importance of cultural preservation, with a particular focus on safeguarding his Azande heritage. Demonstrating this commitment, he actively contributes to the preservation of his culture by producing and promoting traditional songs traditional songs in the Zande language, thereby fostering cultural continuity and celebrating his rich heritage.
