Copyright and Final Paper Instructions
Before submitting your final paper, you need to follow these instructions carefully. Your paper should comply with all the IEEE rules to be submitted for publication to the IEEE Xplore Database, including the copyright requirements, and having passed the IEEE PDF eXpress check.
The appropriate copyright clearance code notice is to appear on the bottom of the first page of each paper according to the guidelines set forth in the Cataloging/Copyright Instructions for an IEEE Conference Proceeding. Detailed instructions can be found at:

Copyright Notice
For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the copyright notice is:
U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright
For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia), the copyright notice is:
978-1-5386-5728-7/18/$31.00 ©2018 Crown
For papers in which all authors are employed by the European Union, the copyright notice is:
978-1-5386-5728-7/18/$31.00 ©2018 European Union
For all other papers the copyright notice is:
978-1-5386-5728-7/18/$31.00 ©2018 IEEE
Add the copyright notice to the bottom of the first page of your source document.
Proofread your source document thoroughly to confirm that it will require no revision
IEEE PDF eXpress
Log in to the IEEE PDF eXpress site (copy/paste or type the following address in your browser if the link does not work: https://www.pdf-express.org/)
First-time users should select the "New Users - Click Here" link
Previous users of PDF eXpress should enter the same password that was used for previous conferences. Verify that your contact information is valid
Enter the following:
- 44033X for the Conference ID
- your email address
- a password
Continue to enter information as prompted.
An Online confirmation will be displayed and an email confirmation will be sent verifying your account setup.
Final Paper Upload
When your document has passed the IEEE Pdf eXpress check, you need to upload the checked document that was mailed to you by the system, to the 2018 GEMCCON conference tool link using EasyChair. This link is the same link used to submit the original paper, found at the bottom of the “Call for Papers” tab on the conference website www.gemccon2018.emcss.org.
Electronic Copyright Form
The IEEE Copyrights team is in the process of activating the electronic copyrights form link. As soon as this is available, instructions will be mailed to you in order to sign copyright over to the IEEE.
The IEEE Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) team is handing the electronic copyright form (eCF) directly. Authors will receive emails with the links and credentials for their eCFs. Authors are asked to contact the GEMCCON Organizing Committee if they have not yet received instructions from the IPR office.
Inclusion of your document to the IEEE Xplore Database is subject to all these requirements, as well as at least one author registration by 24 August 2018 (with the registration fee paid).
Please note that IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (e.g., removal from IEEE Xplore) if the paper is not presented either orally or as a poster at the conference.
