Michele Inversini
Owner & head chef
Chef Inversini is the owner, and head chef of Gelateria Bella. Originally from Florence, Chef Inversini studied at ICIF and worked at some of the top restaurants in Italy and Europe. He learned to make gelato while working at Gelateria Frutteria La Signoria in Florence. After retiring from cooking he decided to settle down in Sapienza and put the gelato-making skills he learned in Florence to use taking over Gelateria Bella. Once you taste his gelato you will be glad he did.
Paolo Fellegara
Gelato maker
Paolo is from Rome and is responsible for making that heavenly delicious gelato everyone enjoys. He learned gelato making while working at Il Gelato ARCIONI in Rome. After visiting Sapienza, he loved it so much he decided to stay and we're glad he did.
Edmondo Giordano
Baker
Edmondo is from Naples and has been baking since he was a teenager. He is self-taught and honed his baking skills in Naples at Il Forno di Pinzana & Tollon. Like Paolo, he loved Sapienza so much that he decided to stay. Pinzana & Tollon's loss is our gain,
Veronica Mantovani
Wait staff. Front counter.
Always ready to serve with a smile on her face. Veronica was born and raised in Sapienza. She has traveled the world and worked in many restaurants as a waitress and hostess, but she calls Sapienza her home. She has worked at Gelateria Bella since the day Chef Inversini took over the business.
Jack Please
Wait staff.
The American-born Jack Please comes to Sapienza via New York City. Born to an American father and Italian mother, Jack grew up between New York and Sorrento, his mother's hometown. He loves working at Gelateria Bella and the warmth and beauty of the coastal town of Sapienza.
