PERFORMANCE TASK 1
The loud noises on May 27, 2007, at the stroke of Sunday midnight, the second child of Angulo's Family has now born. The beautiful baby girl was born in Las Pinas City. Amidst a chorus of excited cries and the hum of medical equipment, her parents Arnel L. Angulo and Adela M. Angulo were overjoyed to welcome their second child. The precious bundle of joy weighed 3.05 kilograms and measured 48.2 centimeters, and they named her Angela May M. Angulo. Her affectionate family called her "MayMay". Now, sixteen years later, the girl has had a journey that has been filled with unexpected experiences that have tested her strength and spirit. Despite the challenges she has faced, she remains determined to carve her own path and continued to live the life she wants.
Hello, my name is Angela May M. Angulo, and I am the second child in the Angulo family. My father, Arnel Lajallab Angulo, was a complex man. He was one-quarter Japanese, as his mother was half Japanese. At first, he appeared to be an amazing person who was caring and understanding towards my siblings and my mother. However, I soon realized that his words and actions were all fake, and I could never trust him. My conviction that he was the first person-a man I could trust-was completely destroyed. My mother, Adela M. Angulo, is a remarkable woman. I inherited her looks, bad temper, and understanding of people. She is one of the best and most supportive mothers anyone could ask for. She faced many problems with my father that I will never forget. I admire her for how she struggled and carried us without my father by her side. She has always been there for me, nurtured me, and believed in me. Growing up, I thought that I had two parents whom I could rely on, but now I know better. I only have one mother and father, and that is my mom, Adela M. Angulo. Since I'm of introducing my mother and my father I also like to introduce you to my family, who mean the world to me. My eldest brother, Angelo M. Angulo, is a tall and hardworking guy who recently turned 24. He works as an encoder and has always been a loving and caring brother to us. My younger sister, Angeline M. Angulo, is a grade 9 student with short hair. She is one of my best friends and is a mature and loving girl. Our family currently lives in Saint Mary Homes Almanza Uno, Las Pinas City. Which we moved to in 2013. It has been a great experience living in this warm and welcoming of this place. Our family has been living in this neighborhood for eight years now, since 2013. We have had the pleasure of making many friends and acquaintances in this community. There is one particular neighbor who stands out, and not in a good way. They tend to be very loud, and their behavior can sometimes be problematic. On the other side of our house, we have another neighbor who is very quiet and respectful. This is why we are closer to them. Although, we are not as close to the noisy neighbors, we are still on good terms with them. We appreciate having another neighbor who is funny and loving, and we are happy to call them a friend. In our neighborhood, we all look out for one another and lend a helping hand whenever needed. Of course, every neighborhood is unique, and there are always differences and changes that occur over time.
What do the terms friend, best friend, comfort friend, and solace mean to me? Initially, I had a limited understanding of what a friend truly meant someone who was not my enemy. As I journeyed through life, I began to realize that a true friend is much more importand for me. A friend is someone who provides a sense of comfort and trust, someone who listens to your problems and dramas without any judgment. They are the ones who make you feel like you matter, and their support is a source of solace during challenging times. (and I do really appreciate them, always)
I am fortunate to have an incredible support in my life, and I would like to introduce my best friends. Jean Alcantara is the youngest in our group, but her age does not define her. She is an understanding person who is kind, open -minded, supportive, loving, and beautiful inside out. She always wears a smile on her face, but she is not afraid to express her emotions, and that is one of the qualities that I admire about her. The second member of our group is Alesandra Gregorio. Alesandra is a funny and cheerful person who always has a way of brightening up our day. She is supportive, open-minded, and never judges anyone. Her presence alone is enough to make us feel better, and she knows how to make us laugh, even during the most challenging times. Angelie Garces is the third member of our group and is like our mother. She has a strict side, but that does not stop her from being kind, sweet, loving, and supportive. She is always there to offer a listening ear, and her advice is invaluable. When we are with her, we feel like we are in a safe space, and that is something that we all cherish. The last member of our group is Palabiana Brion. Palabiana is our oldest friend, but she is the smallest in our group. She is a mature person who is always there when you need her. She is crazy sometimes, but that only makes her more lovable. You can tell her your problems, and she will always offer a helpful solution. She may be busy at times, but she never forgets to check up on us. We have been best friends for five years since we met in grade 7. Over the years, we have become more than just friends we are family. We are there for each other during the good times and the bad times, and we know that we can count on each other for anything. I appreciate how they make me feel every time we are together, and I am grateful for their unwavering support throughout the years. They are my solace, my best buddies, and my siblings.
Thank you, Jean, Alesandra, Angelie, and Palabiana, for being my best friends.
I love you all.
Hello again, since this is all about me now. So, my name is Angela May M. Angulo and I am currently a Grade 11 Senior High School student at Informatics College Northgate, taking up GAS. I am happy to share more about myself in this autobiography. I am a person who likes to go around, explore new things, and meet new people. But, I don't like to be the center of attention. I tend to be on the side and observe things around me. I often space out and get lost in my thoughts, but I believe that it helps me to reflect and understand myself better. I am a good listener and I always try to understand others. I believe in supporting people and making them feel free and happy. I value my friends and family and I try to be there for them whenever they need me. I also tend to keep to myself and prefer to be alone when I need to think or recharge. As for my hobbies, I enjoy drawing and singing. Drawing is my passion and I love to create art that reflects my emotions and thoughts. Singing is something that I do occasionally and although I am not a professional singer, I enjoy it because it makes me feel happy and relaxed. I also love reading manga because it takes me to a different world and helps me to forget about my problems for a while. When it comes to food, I love ice cream. It is my comfort food and whenever I feel down, a scoop of ice cream always makes me feel better. I also enjoy trying out new foods and cuisines. Regarding sports, I am not very athletic, but I enjoy playing badminton. It is a fun sport that requires skill and strategy, and I find it challenging and exciting. Lastly, I want to express my feelings in this autobiography. I have a lot of problems in my mind and also on my side, and often feel like giving up. However, I am grateful for the people who support and love me. They inspire me to keep going and do the things I want. I appreciate and love them all. I firmly believe that now is the time to put an end to my autobiography and focus towards continuing the fight for my self. I have unwavering determination to achieve my goals, and I am confident that I will succeed. My passion and dedication will never falter, and I vow to continue doing what I want.
