GEHLās undergraduate students, Hyelim and Kyungmin, gave a talk on random vibration theory and its application to site response analysis. After working on the topic for two months, they presented their work to our lab members.

Dr. Kil-Wan Ko has been awarded the 2025 Young Researcher Award by the Korean Society of Civil Engineers (KSCE). The KSCE recognized Dr. Ko's research achievements, including his paper, 'Performance Evaluation of Sieve and Curtain Pluviators for Reconstituted Sand Specimen in Model Box.'
Dinner with Prof. Jana Amalesh from Montana State University. We had a nice dinner in San Jose and discussed our collaborative research on the field applicability of energy-based soil liquefaction assessment.
