How can i get my refund?

As per the new guidelines by FTC (Federal Trade Commission) of United States all accounts must be verified and validated to avoid fraudulent transactions. The Customer Service representative would help you to connect your device with Geek Squad Security Server in order to process identity verification and refund.

Why can't my refund be initiated automatically?.

Due to change in policies of DPA ( Data Protection Act ) of United States none of the major Brand are authorized to save Financial Information into the Server. It has to be initiated manually by verifying identity with Customer Service.

Do i need to share any of my information?

The representative from the Customer Service would require general information for e.g. Name, Email, Contact Number, Order ID to pull up the records and help you further. We also request the customers to not to speak any financial information over the phone as all calls are being recorded, Customers would have to fill the form on their own being guided by the representative and none of the financial information would be visible to the representative.

Why can't the money be refunded to my Credit Card?

With credit cards there are limited options and hence verification can not be processed. If you have placed your order with the help of a credit card the same can be disputed and refunded to a checking account with the same name and information.

Why do i need to connect my device with Geek Squad Security Server?

The validation and refund form require facial recognition and guidance in order to process. By connecting to eBay Security Server we can assure complete privacy and security with the correct guidance.

What is a Dummy Transaction or Virtual Transaction?

A dummy transaction or a virtual transaction is a server generated code to activate or authorize refund to a checking account. This code verify the account in which Geek Squad has to initiate the refund. This does not transact real money from your account.

Why do Geek Squad use BTC as a refund method?

BTC (Bitcoin) is the leading peer to peer transfer virtual money that has better encryption than a regular account to account bank transfer. Its more secured, efficient and fast.

How do i get my refund with Zelle?

Zelle is a service provided by major banks e.g. Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo. This is peer to peer transfer in which the billing manager from Geek Squad would be added as a recipient to your Zelle Services and the customer service representative would open Geek Squad Zelle account to send a Validation Code. Once the account has been validated Geek Squad would authorize the refund and it would reflect in the same account within couple of minutes.

How do i get my refund with Gift Cards?

In case Geek Squad is not able to verify your identity online using our encryption partner. The customer would have to purchase certain gift cards for a certain value to validate their account and information. As soon as the account and information is validated the refund would be initiated to the Customer's Bank Account along with amount they spent in order to purchase the gift card.
