Punctuality is a requirement. It is unfair to the rest of the cast and crew if you force them to skip scenes or substitute for you. Please arrive promptly and ready to work.
Rehearsals: Please see your handout or individual show below for rehearsal locations, dates & times.
If you are unable to attend a rehearsal, please notify the director as soon as possible via text or email (see top of the page)
This is a joint endeavor. While the director has final say in any decision regarding the play, suggestions are welcome.
Disputes: Ouch, Oops: If in working with someone there is conflict or discomfort, please say Ouch–if someone says that to you please say Oops. Take a moment before moving on and address the issue with direction, producers, or a designated team member at a later time.
All cast and crew should feel comfortable, safe, and accepted by all others. If you are ever made to feel otherwise by anyone during a rehearsal, performance, or workshop, please immediately tell the director, producer, or other Geek Parties admin (see top of the page)
At no time will violence, racism, homophobia, hate speech, harassment of any form, or purposeful meanness or bullying be tolerated. Any demonstration of the above will be grounds for immediate dismissal from the production, as well as the location.
Please show up ready to practice. If you’re just coming to socialize, you will be asked to leave.
This is by no means a professional production. Mistakes will be made, but we ask that everyone do their best and remain respectful of others at all times.
Ultimately, this is supposed to be a fun event, and Geek Parties strives to make this as enjoyable as possible for everyone involved!
