Student Startup & Innovation Policy 2.0
(SSIP 2.0)
Government Engineering College Dahod is one of the finest institutions across the state of Gujarat to be awarded the SSIP 2.0 grant. The amount of Rs. 50,00,000/- has been sanctioned for the duration of 5 years (2022 to 2027). The amount will be used to carry out various SSIP 2.0 activities throughout the duration. In the first Phase of SSIP, Around 50 % of the total grant received was utilized in various SSIP activities. More than 70 projects have been supported at Proof of Concept (PoC) level and 12 patents were financially supported from SSIP grant. More than 4000 students were sensitized through various activities like technical workshops, awareness seminars, webinars, etc. GEC Dahod is one the first institution across the state of Gujarat to organize National Conference under the banner of SSIP which was related to startup and innovations.
