We are an all-girls FTC team based in Howard County Maryland. We are a community team made up of students ranging from 8th -12th Grade. Our team mission is to become a strong ambassador of FIRST by motivating and inspiring our community while strengthening our engineering skills, connecting with the STEM community, andÂ
ALWAYS STRIVING FOR CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT!!
Throughout the season, we held information sessions in our community and attended STEM events at schools
At these sessions we:
Educated the community about FIRST
Shared our love for FIRST
Demoed our robot
Shared our previous experiences
Answered questions
Inspired students to participate in FIRST
Through our outreach, we were able to start a new FTC team, SpinAllDaWay #30736. We taught them crucial skills at the beginning of the season, and continued to actively mentor them throughout the season.
We mentor FTC and FLL teams regularly in our community by offering advice both technically and regarding game strategy, along with teaching new skills.
We went to Beer n Bots; an event where STEM professionals displayed their creative innovations. While we were there, we:
Demoed our robot to the attendees & answered questions regarding our robot & FIRST
Got the contact information of people who were interested in learning more about FIRST

Throughout the season, we have collaborated with over 50 FTC teams for outreach events and helped us build our connections with the community, and create a wider network with teams we can continue to collaborate with in the future!
We scrimmage with other teams to practice game strategy and simulate matches effectively.
We organized a scrimmaging set up at both Into the Deep and DECODE MTI, where we were able to help 30+ teams, many of which were international!
We organized and led events with other FTC teams for several events to maximize our impact.
We have been heavily involved in advocating for Maryland HB0531 2026. We organized the Maryland Coalition for Equitable STEM and Robotics, comprised of 34 robotics teams across the state, and submitted a written testimony on behalf of the coalition. We also testified twice in person as panelists, where the bill was able to pass from the House to the Senate.
