Our founder, Claude White, grew up in Detroit, Michigan, wanting a better life. He spent his high school years working and studying and ended up with a Master of Business Administration from Wayne State's Mike Ilitch School of Business.
After graduating in 2014, Claude worked until he saved and invested enough of his own money to open the Gear Bolt Steakhouse in 2020. Unfortunately, it closed the next year due to financial failure, but Claude wasn't willing to shut his doors so fast.
Using the funds he recovered from the steakhouse, he opened up a cafe in Frankenmuth, Michigan, inside of a popular waterpark and made enough off of that to invest in a spaghetti sauce business.
He used his new knowledge of spaghetti sauce to create the Gear Bolt Spaghetti World Restaurant in Detroit, Michigan, a successful business that offers all kinds of spaghetti you may have never heard of before!
Claude's wildly successful businesses influenced him to buy a large office building in Downtown Detroit, located at 232 Grand River Avenue. He now owns businesses in Mexico, the United States, and Iceland, with plans to expand further into Central America and Europe.
We own three skyscrapers, located at 232 Grand River Avenue in Detroit, 1500 Shore Club Drive in Saint Clair Shores, and 335 Bridge Street Northwest in Grand Rapids.
