Annie Pfost started performing at a very young age and realized her love of music and singing when she was 10 years old. She competed as a classical vocalist throughout her high school career, as well as participating in several choirs and musical productions, including a performance at the famed Carnegie Hall in New York City. She studied Commercial Voice at Belmont University, in Nashville, Tennessee, which is one of the oldest and well-respected programs of its kind in the country. At Belmont, she studied both classical and contemporary voice, piano, music theory, music history, and participated in multiple student performance groups. Her studies took her to Rome for a summer, to further explore the origin of music history and theory. Annie has spent the last two years at YLS helping her private students book their dream roles and gain admittance into prestigious performing arts schools while teaching classes like Improv, Introductory Music Theory, and Advanced Musical Theater Workshops. Annie can’t wait to help your students achieve their goals both in and out of the studio!
