This Privacy Policy applies to FitNote / Qingjian Note provided by Gong ChengYong (the "App"). The App is for personal daily tracking of food, weight, water intake, and exercise. Based on the data you enter and local data sources, it displays estimates such as calories, nutrition, BMI, trends, and active energy.
If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please stop using the App.

The App is designed for local storage. The current version does not require account registration and does not create a developer-operated server account. Food, weight, exercise, water, custom food, food photo, and profile data that you create or enter in the App is stored only locally on your device and is not uploaded to servers operated by Gong ChengYong. Apple Health active energy data is read and displayed locally on your device only after you grant permission.
When you use the App, the App may process the following information locally on your device:
Profile and goals: gender, age, height, current weight, target weight, activity level, weight goal, weekly target change, and unit preferences.
Food logs: food name, source, meal type, date and time, grams, calories, protein, fat, carbohydrates, fiber, sugar, sodium, and related nutrition data.
Food photos: photos you select from the system photo library and attach to food logs.
Weight logs: weight, date and time, status, or notes.
Water logs and settings: daily water intake, cup size, and daily water goal.
Exercise logs: exercise type, plan name, calories burned, duration, and record time.
Custom foods: food names, categories, nutrition values, and default serving sizes you manually add.
Daily goal snapshots: daily calorie goal, water goal, cup size, and target weight used to keep historical statistics stable.
Subscription entitlement cache: App Store purchase or subscription entitlement data used to determine whether Pro features are available.
Apple Health active energy authorization status and active energy data: after you grant permission, the App reads today's active energy only, used to display exercise calories and estimated net intake together.
The App may request the following system permissions:
Photo library access: used to let you attach photos to food logs. The App does not read or upload your photo library content unless you choose a photo.
Apple Health read access: used to read today's active energy. The App requests read access only and does not write data to Apple Health. You can revoke permission at any time in Apple Health or iOS Settings.
The current main app does not use camera, microphone, contacts, location, or advertising tracking permissions.
User-changeable data in the App is stored only locally on your device, including:
UserDefaults: profile data, water settings, water logs, exercise logs, custom foods, and Apple Health authorization request status.
WeightManager.sqlite in the App sandbox Documents directory: food logs, weight logs, daily goal snapshots, and related records.
The IntakeImages folder in the App sandbox Documents directory: photos attached to food logs.
iOS Keychain: local subscription entitlement cache.
This data may be affected by your device backup, iCloud backup, or device migration settings. Uninstalling the App usually deletes local data in the App sandbox, but whether backup copies remain depends on Apple's system behavior and your device settings.
The App uses the information above to:
Display and save your food, weight, water, and exercise records.
Calculate daily calorie intake, macronutrients, BMI, target weight differences, and trend charts.
Display tracking reference values related to food, water, exercise, and weight goals.
Read Apple Health active energy after you grant permission and display it together with local exercise logs.
Preserve the goal basis for historical dates so later profile changes do not rewrite historical statistics.
Verify, restore, and display App Store subscriptions or purchases.
Handle support requests, feedback, or questions that you voluntarily send by email.
The current version does not include a developer-operated account system, cloud sync, advertising SDK, or third-party analytics SDK. We do not sell your personal information.
The App necessarily interacts with third-party systems in the following situations:
Apple App Store / StoreKit: used to load product information, complete purchases, verify transactions, restore purchases, and manage subscriptions. Payments, refunds, cancellations, and billing information are handled by Apple under Apple's rules.
Apple HealthKit: after you grant permission, the App reads today's active energy from HealthKit on your device. The App does not use that data for advertising, sale, or transfer, and does not upload that data to developer-operated servers.
Email services: when you voluntarily contact us by email, your email address, message content, and related communications are processed by the email services you use.
The App also uses some open-source or third-party local libraries for interface, database, chart, or image selection features. These libraries run locally inside the App and do not mean that the developer actively shares your personal data with the library authors.
The App includes food nutrition data and calculation formulas for estimating calories, nutrition, BMI, target differences, water, exercise calories, and trends. The local food databases bundled with the current app version are provided only as references for logging and nutrition calculations, and may not cover every country, region, brand, restaurant, cuisine, or local food name. For regions or foods that are not covered, you may use general food data as a reference or manually add records through custom foods.
These data and results may differ from actual conditions because of food brand, origin, processing, cooking method, entry accuracy, device records, and personal settings.
The App is only for personal daily tracking and data estimation. It is not a professional service, is not intended for clinical judgment, emergency assistance, professional equipment monitoring, or on-site handling, and does not promise any weight change or body result. You are responsible for deciding how to use information shown in the App. If you need individualized diet, training, or body condition assessment, please obtain services from an appropriately qualified offline professional.
Local data in the App generally remains on your device until you delete related records, reset part of your profile, uninstall the App, or clear data through system tools.
Please note:
The "refill profile" or onboarding reset option clears onboarding completion status and profile data, but does not automatically delete food, weight, water, or exercise records.
When you delete a food log, the App attempts to delete the food photo attached to that log.
Deleting the App usually deletes local sandbox data. If you previously created device or iCloud backups, backup copies are governed by Apple system behavior and account settings.
For additional data deletion assistance, contact us at gongchengyong70@gmail.com. Because the current version stores data only locally on your device, we cannot remotely delete local data on your device, but we can provide guidance.

Choose whether to enter, edit, or delete records in the App.
Manage photo library and Apple Health permissions in iOS Settings.
Manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.
Contact us by email with questions about this Privacy Policy or personal information.
Depending on the laws that apply in your region, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, withdraw consent, or lodge a complaint. We will handle your request as required by applicable law.
The App is intended for general personal life tracking and is not specifically directed to children. If you are a minor, please use the App with consent and guidance from a parent or guardian. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child without appropriate consent through voluntary contact or similar means, we will delete the relevant information where reasonably possible.
We use mechanisms such as the App sandbox, iOS Keychain, and system permission controls to protect App data. However, no electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure. Please protect your device, system account, and backups.
We may update this Privacy Policy due to feature, legal, or operational changes. When updated, the new effective date will be shown in the App, release page, or another reasonable location. Your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the updated policy.
