Welcome to SpleeterAudioStems (the "App"). The App is designed for audio and video import, stem separation, waveform display, playback control, speed and pitch adjustment, recording, export, video/audio composition, and sharing. We value your privacy and the security of your audio and video content. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information, uses system permissions, and how you can manage related data.
The App may process content that you actively select, import, create, or save, including:
audio files, video files, and their file names;
separated stem files;
recording files;
exported audio or video files;
imported chord files and chord timeline data;
waveform caches, project lists, processing progress, or temporary files generated to improve the experience.
This content is used to provide the audio and video processing features you choose. Unless you actively share or export content through the system share sheet, file picker, or other system features, the App does not actively upload the above audio or video content to our servers.
If the App offers subscriptions or in-app purchases, purchases, payments, and refunds are processed by Apple App Store. The App may use StoreKit to obtain necessary subscription status, entitlement status, or transaction results to determine whether you can use the corresponding features. The App does not directly collect or store payment credentials such as bank card numbers or payment account passwords.
The App may store app settings, project files, cache files, recording lists, import records, and export results locally on your device to restore projects, reduce repeated processing, and improve playback and editing.
Based on the current project implementation, the App's core audio and video processing is mainly completed locally on your device. The current version does not integrate advertising SDKs, third-party user behavior analytics SDKs, or an account registration/login system, and it does not track you across apps for advertising purposes.
If a future version adds cloud processing, accounts, sync, customer support, crash analytics, advertising, or statistics features, we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly and obtain your consent again where required.
Permission: Microphone
Purpose: Used to record your voice or instrument sound while audio is playing and save the recording to the local recording list.
Effect of denial: If you deny microphone permission, you will not be able to use recording features, but existing audio/video playback, separation, export, and other features that do not require the microphone will not be affected.
Permission: Photos or media library access
Purpose: Used to select videos or media files from the system photo library and import them into the App for audio extraction, stem separation, playback, or composition.
Effect of denial: If you deny this permission, you will not be able to select videos from the photo library. You may still import accessible local files through the system file picker.
When you use the system file picker, share sheet, or Share Extension, the system may grant the App access to the files you select. The App only processes files that you actively select or share with the App.
You can disable or re-enable the App's microphone, photos, and other permissions at any time in iOS Settings. Disabling permissions may prevent some features from working.
The App uses the above information to:
import, read, play, and preview audio or video;
perform stem separation, audio extraction, format processing, volume adjustment, speed and pitch adjustment, AB loop, and similar features;
generate and cache waveform data to reduce repeated calculations;
record audio and save it locally;
compose recordings or exported audio into video;
share files you select through the system share sheet;
display and manage subscription status;
keep App features running reliably.
In the current version, audio/video separation, recording, waveform caching, export, and composition are mainly completed locally on the device. Processing speed and results may be affected by device performance, system version, source file size, and file format.
The App may save project files, separated results, recordings, exported files, caches, and temporary files in the app sandbox, shared container, or system temporary directories. Files in system temporary directories may be cleaned automatically by the system.
You can delete related data by:
deleting recordings or projects inside the App;
deleting exported files or cache files;
uninstalling the App to delete local data in the app sandbox;
managing app permissions in iOS Settings.
Because the App currently does not provide a cloud account system, there is generally no audio or video content that needs to be deleted from our servers. If cloud features are introduced in the future, we will provide corresponding data access and deletion channels.
When you use the system share sheet, save files, send files to other apps, use AirDrop, or use other system sharing features, the files you choose to share leave the App's control and will be processed by the recipient or third-party app you choose according to their rules. Please confirm the file content, copyright ownership, and recipient before sharing.
Third-party or system capabilities integrated by the App may include Apple StoreKit, audio/video processing frameworks, file pickers, photo pickers, the system share sheet, and open-source UI/tool libraries. These components are used to implement App features. We will use reasonable efforts to require relevant third parties to comply with applicable privacy and security requirements.
We take reasonable measures to protect data within the App, such as using the iOS sandbox, local file isolation, and system permission controls. However, no software or storage method can guarantee absolute security. Please properly protect your device and system account, and avoid processing sensitive audio or video content on public devices or in untrusted environments.
The App is intended for general audio/video editing and learning scenarios and is not specifically directed to children. Minors should obtain guardian consent before using the App and should import, record, process, or share audio/video content under guardian guidance.
You may:
choose whether to grant microphone, photos, and other system permissions;
delete local recordings, exported files, projects, or uninstall the App;
choose whether to share audio or video files;
manage subscriptions through App Store;
contact us about personal information processing matters to the extent permitted by applicable law.
We may update this Privacy Policy due to feature changes, compliance requirements, or product adjustments. After an update, we will display the latest version in the App, on a website, or in another reasonable location. If an update involves significant changes to data processing, we will provide notice or obtain consent as required by applicable law.
